1. Purpose of this PolicyThis Data Deletion Policy explains how users can delete their account and personal data associated with the Soulmate app. Soulmate respects user privacy and provides a clear and accessible way to permanently remove personal information from our systems.
2. Your Right to Delete Your DataYou have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. When your account is deleted:
- your profile and personal data will be removed from the app;
- your messages, connections and interactions will be permanently deleted;
- your data will no longer be visible to other users.
Soulmate
does not sell or rent user data to third parties.
3. How to Delete Your Data via the App (Recommended)You can permanently delete your data directly from the app by following these steps:
- Open the Soulmate App
- Go to Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm deletion by following the on-screen instructions
Once confirmed, your deletion request will be processed automatically.
4. Delete Data by Email Request (Alternative Method)If you are unable to delete your account via the app, you can request deletion by email:
Send an email to
support@slmt.app using this subject:
“Account Deletion Request”Include the following information:
- Your registered phone number or email
- Reason for deletion (optional)
We will respond and verify your request for security purposes.
5. Data Deletion TimelinePersonal account data within 30 days;
Backups and logs up to 90 days (automatic system cycle);
Legal and safety records stored only if required by law or safety investigations.
6. Data We May Retain TemporarilyFor user protection and legal compliance, Soulmate may retain limited records in specific cases:
- Fraud or abuse investigations
- Violations of Safety Rules
- Legal obligations or regulatory requests
- This is done in accordance with safety and compliance standards and only when necessary.
7. Data Sharing After DeletionAfter your account is deleted:
- We do not share your data with third parties
- We do not sell your data
- We do not retain data for marketing or profiling
8. Safety NoteIf your account was previously reported for harmful behavior or fraud, Soulmate may retain minimal safety-related evidence as required to protect other users and prevent repeated abuse.
