1. Purpose
This Policy explains how Soulmate uses data and algorithmic processing to deliver compatibility insights and personalized experiences while maintaining full transparency, fairness and user control.

2. What Data We Use
Soulmate uses only limited personal data to provide compatibility insights. This includes:

• Profile information (age, gender, city, interests, bio)
• Compatibility inputs (answers to personality or scenario-based questions)
• In-app interactions (likes, matches, message intent – no message content analysis)
• Device and security data (to prevent fraud)

We do not analyze private messages, photos, or personal files for algorithmic decisions.

3. Why We Use This Data
Data is used exclusively to:

• Suggest meaningful compatibility matches
• Personalize user experience
• Improve connection relevance
• Detect fraud or abusive behavior

Soulmate does not sell user data or use it for advertising purposes.

4. How Compatibility Is Calculated
Compatibility insights in Soulmate are generated using structured models based on:

• Personality indicators
• Interaction preferences
• Behavioral compatibility
• Scenario-based alignment
• Communication harmony and interaction pace

No automated decision determines user destiny—compatibility results are suggestions, not judgments.

5. AI and Model Transparency
Soulmate uses AI-assisted scoring and matching logic to enhance compatibility insights. These models:

• Do not classify users psychologically or medically
• Do not assign personality labels
• Do not generate fixed scores or rankings
• Do not make decisions for the user

All AI outcomes are interpretative and optional.

6. Human Control
Soulmate believes in Human-in-the-loop principles:

• Users always remain in control of connections
• Matches require mutual user agreement
• Suggestions are non-binding
• No irreversible actions are made by algorithms

7. Model Improvement
We continuously improve our algorithms to enhance match quality and fairness. Improvements are made using:

• Aggregated interaction analytics
• Anonymous system performance metrics
• No personal identities are used for model training

8. Fairness and Non-Discrimination
Soulmate is designed for universal human connection—across cultures, values and backgrounds.
We strictly prohibit algorithmic or manual discrimination based on:

• Race, ethnicity or nationality
• Religion or beliefs
• Gender or sexual identity
• Disability or health
• Income, social status or background

We actively monitor for data bias and consult ethical guidelines to ensure fairness.

9. User Rights and Algorithm Control
You can:

• Request explanation of how your compatibility insights are used
• Delete your data at any time
• Disable personalized recommendations by deleting your question-based inputs
• Delete your account entirely via Settings → Delete Account

10. Safety and Integrity
Algorithmic integrity is part of our safety model. We do not use algorithms for:

• Surveillance
• Manipulation
• Emotional scoring
• Psychological profiling

Safety violations are handled only by human moderators, not automation.

Compatibility results are informational only and not psychological, emotional or medical assessments. They should not be treated as expert guidance.
