1. Purpose and CommitmentSoulmate is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users. The platform is strictly intended for adults and does not allow the participation of minors under any circumstances. Protecting children from online risks, grooming, exploitation, or exposure to inappropriate content is a core safety priority and legal obligation of Soulmate.
2. Age Restriction (18+)2.1. Soulmate is exclusively for users
18 years of age or older.
2.2. By creating an account, users confirm that they meet the minimum age requirement.
2.3. Any attempt to create an account as a minor or misrepresent age is strictly prohibited.
3. Age Verification3.1. Soulmate uses an
age declaration system (Age Gate) during registration, requiring users to enter their full date of birth.
3.2. If there is suspicion that a user may be underage, Soulmate may request
additional age verification (e.g., ID verification or selfie verification).
3.3. Failure to complete age verification results in
immediate account deletion.
4. Detection of Underage UsersSoulmate identifies potential underage users through:
- user reports,
- behavioral signals,
- profile content review,
- Trust & Safety investigation.
Any profile suspected of being operated by a minor is placed under review and may be removed without notice if age cannot be verified.
5. Reporting Underage Users5.1. Users can report suspected underage accounts using the
Report function.
5.2. Reports are reviewed by the
Trust & Safety Team within defined priority timelines.
5.3. False reports made in bad faith may lead to enforcement actions.
6. Grooming and Exploitation PreventionSoulmate strictly prohibits:
- grooming (gradual manipulation of a minor for abuse),
- inappropriate communication with minors,
- solicitation, exploitation, or sexualization of minors,
- attempts to move conversations with suspected minors off-platform.
Violations result in
permanent ban and may be reported to law enforcement agencies.
7. Zero Tolerance on CSAMSoulmate has a
zero tolerance policy for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
- Any CSAM content or attempt to share it results in immediate and permanent account termination.
- Content is securely preserved and reported as required by international child protection laws.
- Soulmate complies with global child safety regulations, including reporting obligations to appropriate legal authorities.
8. Cooperation with Law EnforcementSoulmate cooperates fully with:
- child protection organizations,
- digital safety agencies,
- local and international law enforcement
- when cases involve risk to minors.
We support investigations related to online child exploitation, grooming, and safety violations where legally required.
9. Moderation and EnforcementThe
Trust & Safety Team reviews reports related to minor safety. Enforcement actions include:
- warning or education (in low-risk cases),
- temporary suspension during investigation,
- permanent ban for verified violations,
- legal reporting when required.
10. Safety Technology and MonitoringSoulmate uses a combination of:
- human moderation,
- automated detection signals,
- user reports,
- to identify safety risks. No automated system makes final moderation decisions—every case is reviewed by trained safety specialists.
11. Data Retention for Safety CasesTo prevent repeated abuse and comply with legal obligations:
- Safety-related records may be temporarily retained for up to 90 days.
- Evidence of CSAM, grooming, or high-risk activity is stored as required by law.
All data handling follows our
Privacy Policy.
12. User Education and Responsibility- Soulmate does not match minors with adults.
- Users must not engage with anyone they suspect may be underage.
- Any inappropriate or unsafe behavior must be reported immediately.
